Feast your eyes on a very rare collectible Roc. This Roc, the "San Marino" Mold with "West Sayeed" stamp, is part of the official 2008 USDGC Collector's Series, but comes with a very special difference - Eco-STAR Plastc! This disc represents the first release of a "CE" Roc in recycled Eco-STAR plastic. These discs were produced in very limited numbers and this particular model with Eco-STAR plastic were distributed to a very small number of USDGC Sponsors.

Hard-core players and collectors know that Champion Rocs (CE Rocs in the old vernacular) are only made once a year for the US Disc Golf Championship, or USDGC. This incredible tournament features the world's best players in a single division - "One Division, One Champion". Champion Rocs are produced in small quantities to commemorate this special tournament each October. As the world's best-selling mid-range, the Roc has a huge following by players of all abilities, making these collectible Rocs a very hard-to-find disc.

The Roc is normally produced only in DX or KC Pro plastic, so players covet these ultra-durable discs in Innova's Champion plastic, which ensures years of long life and consistent flight. In fact, it is not uncommon for touring Pros to throw Champion Rocs from past USDGC tournaments because they are so tasty!

This particular Roc is a San Marino Mold from the 2008 USDGC with the "West Sayeed" stamp. The San Marino mold was the original Roc Mold from the 80's, and has proved to be extremely popular with players and collectors. San Marino Rocs are slightly less stable than Rancho Rocs and have excellent glide. The "West Sayeed" stamp was produced in relatively small quantities and very small quantities in the Eco STAR plastic. While the USDGC only tracks the production quantities on the bagged collectors' Rocs, they say this stamp is "Hard to find, Highly sought after". Don't delay - This disc will be sold out very soon due the incredible demand for USDGC Rocs.

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or FrisbeeŽ. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
